Snoopy Island
Located just off the northern coast of the Emirate of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates, Snoopy Island, also known as Snoopy Rock, charms visitors with its uncanny resemblance to the beloved cartoon character Snoopy lying on his back. Snoopy Island boasts a unique rocky formation, featuring three distinct sections reminiscent of Snoopy’s nose, stomach, and feet. Positioned approximately 200 meters from the mainland, reaching the island offers various options for visitors. One popular choice is to secure accommodation or a day pass at the Sandy Beach Resort, with weekday rates at 105 AED per person and 130 AED per person on weekends.
During low tide, an artificial sand path emerges, almost inviting travelers to walk directly to the island. However, high tide necessitates a short swim to reach Snoopy Island’s shores. To preserve the delicate coral reefs surrounding the island, walking around it is strictly prohibited. Instead, a designated resting spot is available for visitors, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
